About The Black Council

The Black Council of Windsor-Essex is a non-profit organization established in 2021. Our focus is on challenging systemic anti-Black racism within the Windsor-Essex region. By combining advocacy, research, community engagement, and policy development, we address systemic barriers and promote equity. Our efforts ensure Black residents have access to the opportunities, resources, and dignity they deserve.
